We hear more and more that big tech companies are bringing their staff back to the office, there are also studies that show that working from home increases productivity. Who is right? Well, for me, all and none.
Saying everyone has to go to the office or everyone has to telework or spend a few days in the office every week is a bad decision. Each person is different, there are people who will produce better in the office, others in remote and others by going there from time to time.
Does someone who leaves school and starts working have to go to the office? Well yes, knowledge will be transmitted more easily and above all, they will learn the discipline that is needed in a job, because teleworking requires discipline, much more than in the office.
This is just one example, but it is also valid for people with experience, the risk of teleworking can be the environment; the couple, the children, etc… This is why to increase the productivity of a company it must be applied to a case-by-case basis. Companies must have three possible models, office, 100% telework, and hybrid and adapt it to each person according to their desires and contingencies.
